The garden is full

while others are just getting their legs.

Strawberry Fields Forever...

We made a few trips out to Pleasant Fields Farm for some strawberry picking and quiet bonding time.

  Try as she may, she could not scare us away!

This little killdeer screamed at us the entire time to get us away from her eggs--kind of hard since she was in the middle of the parking lot.

Garden Chronicles--April 24th, 2012

Everyone was excited to get back to the garden and see what had changed since last week.

Some had plans to continue digging to "China", while others looked forward to playing quiet games in the teepee.

What had happened since last week, was that a sweet little toad had trapped himself down in the hole to China.  The children quickly rescued the little guy--who must live nearby as we continue to see him wandering about the playgarden.

Then we had a great time making

 hoops and learning how to use them.
